Vales Point Power Station Unit 5 will restart on Tuesday 10 February 2026, following a short maintenance outage. Start-up is expected to be completed around 3pm on Tuesday 10 February. This timing may vary due to operational factors. If the timing changes by more than 24 hours, the community will be notified. During this time, nearby residents may notice slightly increased noise and water vapour from the station. These impacts will remain within licensed operating limits.
