Vales Point Power Station Units 5 and 6 will restart following short maintenance outages. Unit 6 will restart from 7pm on Thursday 5 February 2026, with start-up expected to be completed around 6pm on Friday 6 February 2026. Unit 5 will restart from 11pm on Friday 6 February 2026, with start-up expected to be completed around 6pm on Saturday 7 February 2026. This timing may vary due to operational factors. If the timing changes by more than 24 hours, the community will be notified. During this time, nearby residents may notice slightly increased noise and water vapour from the station.
