Applications for the 2025 Chain Valley Colliery Community Funding Program will open on Monday 11 August.
Grants of up to $30,000 are available for not-for-profit organisations to deliver projects that enhance community infrastructure and services in Chain Valley Bay, Gwandalan, Mannering Park, and Summerland Point.
In 2024, eight projects shared a combined total of almost $44,000 in funding. Among these was the Mannering Park Community Garden, which has become a thriving space for growing fresh food and connecting neighbours. Other funded projects included School Sailing at Mannering Park, Ride to Success, Solar Jetty Lights, community noticeboards, and local events – all helping to improve community connections and wellbeing.
To help community groups understand the program and application process, Central Coast Council is hosting two information sessions:
- Online: 2pm to 3.30pm, Wednesday 24 July
- In-person: 10am to 11.30am, Wednesday 30 July at Mannering Park Community Hall
For more details on program eligibility, how to apply and to register for the information sessions, visit the Central Coast Council website.
The Chain Valley Colliery Community Funding Program is a joint initiative between Delta and Central Coast Council. It is just one of the ways we're supporting local organisations and initiatives that enhance the local environment, wellbeing and safety of the communities in which we work and live. Find out more.
