Supporting our community

We are dedicated to making a positive impact in our local community.

At Delta, we're more than just an energy company – we're part of the communities where we live and work. We stay closely connected through open conversations, genuine partnerships and supporting local initiatives that make a real difference in people’s lives.

Community engagement

Community engagement

We believe strong partnerships are built on open communication. That’s why we regularly talk with community members, hold forums and actively seek insights and feedback on how we manage our sites and operations.

Delta Scholarship of Excellence

Delta Scholarship of Excellence

University of Newcastle

For over 20 years, we’ve partnered with University of Newcastle to support students aiming to make their mark in the energy industry. Recipients receive $5,000 to support their studies. It's just one way we’re investing in the next generation.

Congratulations to our 2024 Scholarship recipient April, who is studying biodiversity, ecosystems, and endangered animals. April sees herself pursuing a career in environmental rehabilitation in the mining sector or working towards sustainability with natural resources. Congratulations April!

Landcare partnerships

Landcare partnerships

We've been supporting local Landcare groups for more that two decades. In partnership with Central Coast and Lake Macquarie councils, we've helped with bush regeneration, sand dune restoration and local conservation projects in Wyee Point, Dora Creek, Budgewoi, Lakes Beach and surrounding areas. A huge thanks to the dedicated and hard working volunteers who are making a meaningful difference in preserving and restoring our local environment.
